Who is Comfort Web Design?
I am a specialty-design house dedicated to creating classy, noticeable web sites for personal use and businesses. For businesses, Comfort Webs wants to bring traffic to your site, and effectively build your business in the manner you desire! I can handle just about any project you need, from simply adding one page to an existing site, or completely starting from scratch. So if you're looking to design a new site or re-do an old one; I'm here to help.
Why use a design house to build your homepage?
No matter what the software companies say, learning and building a website can be very frustrating, time consuming and difficult for the everyday PC user. Unless you enjoy hours upon hours of surfing the net for just the right graphics, learning how to use a graphic program to create your own, then learning how to use an HTML editor and FTP program to upload your files to the web, Comfort Webs is who you need. My prices are affordable and my personal service will ensure you a wonderful site that you will be proud to display. Personal relationships with my clients are a must! I want your site to fit YOU!
Where will my site be located when I use Comfort Web Design?  That depends upon where you want your site to reside.  We offer a range of hosting options for you to consider. I will be happy to discuss all of your options upon contact.
What about privacy?
Once your site is built, I will give you the access address for your site and ask you at that time if you would like to have the site placed on my client portfolio page.  If you wish for your pages to remain private I will fully respect your wishes and will not add your pages to my client list. If you choose to keep the site private then the only people who will access the site will be those who obtain the website address directly from you.
How do I get my pictures to you?
You can either mail your pictures via U.S. Mail or send them as an attachment in an email. If sending your pictures through email, please save and send your photos in a .jpg or .gif format. If you are sending your pictures U.S. Mail please include a self addressed stamped envelope for me to return your photos once I have scanned them and placed them on your site. *Comfort Web Design will not be responsible for lost or damaged photos through the U.S. mail.*
How long will it take for my site to be available for me to see?
I will begin working on your site as soon as I receive your photos and text.  Usually you can expect to see a preview site within a week after you send me your material.  However I do take the time and care needed to present you with the best website for your money. Often I will spend hours on end researching or designing just the right graphics and layout for you.
I'd like to have a page that's very interactive with all the bells and whistles! I want animation, applets and things like that. Will that cost me extra?
Not at all, most design elements such as animation, applets, java scripting and css style sheets,comes included in the prices listed on our pricing page. You'll find that I go the extra mile to include many things in your package that cost extra with other designers. I love a good challenge, and are prepared to bring excellence to your site - no matter what you may want or need! The only extra charge you will incur is if you ask me to retouch photos or consistently change out graphics, photos, music samples, etc. or if Flash Animation is requested. Those are separate charges from your website cost. Ask me for details* The only thing I ask is that you provide the text content for your site.  I can assist with some structural ideas but only YOU know your business and how best to describe it.
Will I be able to access my domain name with or without the WWW?
Yes, you will be able to access the domain name with or without the WWW in front. For example, you could access the domain name "yourdomain.dom" by going to "www.yourdomain.dom" as well as "yourdomain.dom".

How much is hosting?
I offer 3 different levels of hosting and can adjust the plans to fit your needs.  Hosting is billed annually to keep the cost down and due upon signup.  Click HERE to review our hosting plans and services.
Can I check domain name availability?
You can check for domain availability directly from the InterNIC web site. Or you can go to http://www.godaddy.com to check for domain availability.
Can I transfer existing domain to your services?
Yes. When you place an order, be sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and not a new domain. You should keep the service at the present site while waiting for your current Registrar to complete the transfer. We will provide you with all the necessary DNS information you need to transfer your domain to our hosting services.
Why do I have to have a domain name and how do I get a domain name?
Every website has to have a "Web Address" to be accessible on the World wide web. Think of it as your home address.  Without one you couldn't direct people to your home. To obtain a Domain Name just Use the Domain Registrar of your choice such as Godaddy.Com to register your domain name. Godaddy.Com has the best pricing that we can find.
Will you do the domain name registration for me?
Yes I can register your domain name for 15.00 a year, Or I can guide you through the registration process.
How long does it take before my domain name is active?
Once your account has been activated your domain should start responding within 12-24 hours.
Do you host other domains besides the .com .net or .org extensions?
Yes, I host ALL domain name extensions.
What contract and payment terms are available?
I offer annual payment for hosting accounts payment is due upon signup. Design services require payment of $100.00 when you order and balance due upon competition of site.  For more information, visit our plans & pricing section. I accept credit cards via paypal.com as well as personal and business checks  (Please note all checks must clear before processing new accounts
Do you offer technical support?
Yes. I encourage our customers to use our Contact Form for questions or concerns about their web site. I am very quick to respond to support issues. Fees if any are minimal set at a quarterly to hourly basis.
How long does it take to set up a new account?
I process orders 7 days a week! Once an account is set up an activation notice will be sent to you via email including a userid, password, and FTP hostname. If you are designing your own site you can begin uploading files to your new web site immediately.
How do I place an order?
