Eventide Natural Spring
Water
Spencer Springs, Millsap, Texas
On a nippy fall day in 2004, 16-year-old
Spencer Parker was touring his family’s
Parker County Farm in preparation for
hunting season.
As he walked past a bluff overlooking
the Brazos River, he noticed that his
feet were growing cold. He was standing
in a flow of water.
Being curious, he traced the small
stream to a large rock formation up the
hill.
Little did Spencer know that he had just
discovered the pure, crisp water that
would become Eventide Spring Water.
He told his father about the spring, and
thus was born the dream of creating a
bottled water company on the site of
this natural spring, capturing Mother
Nature’s fresh creation.
The commitment was simple: Nothing
added, nothing taken away.
Research through local newspaper
archives revealed that, as far back as
1914, travelers had stopped at this site
to enjoy a revitalizing taste of fresh
spring water as they headed west over
the Brazos.
Filling up their canteens and any other
container with the natural spring water.
The old Brannon Bridge, just one mile
south of present day I-20, crossed the
river on the Parker family farm.
