Dublin
Bottling Works Sodas
The history of Dublin Bottling Works begins in
1891. Dublin Bottling Works in Dublin, Texas
became the first facility to actually bottle Dr
Pepper. The State of Texas Historical marker in
front of our plant states that we were the first
and oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant. We have
been on the same piece of real estate for over
120 years. The Prim and Kloster families have
been the only two families, who have owned
Dublin Bottling Works, in its century-plus
existence. Over the years, Dublin Bottling Works
became known for “Dublin Dr Pepper” and a host
of other fantastic sodas all made with pure cane
sugar.
In 2012, Dublin Bottling Works introduced the
first of its own flavors. Dublin Bottling Works
felt that there were two very important
traditions that needed to remain; that all of
the sodas should be made with pure cane sugar
and that they should be sold in glass bottles. A
century of bottling taught us that the natural
insulation properties of glass keep the
carbonation at its best and pure cane sugar not
only sweetens the soda, but also enhances the
natural flavors of soda.
It is with great pride, tremendous support from
the community, friends and fans that Dublin
Bottling Works brings you their own line of
premium sodas with distinctive tastes and trendy
retro designs. The product integrity and quality
are again unmatched in the industry. We invite
you to celebrate the continuation of this
beloved and historic Texas Company.
Today, Dublin Bottling Works has launched a
total of 12 different flavors: Vintage Cola,
Vanilla Cream, Retro Grape, Tart-n-Sweet
Lemonade, Retro Crème, Cherry Limeade, Orange
Cream, Ginger Ale, Black Cherry, Texas Root
Beer, Texas Sweet Peach & Fru Fru Berry. There
is a flavor for everyone!
